Congrats to our participants!

Congratulations on a great race today!  Frozen Feat 2011 is in the books and we’re logging it as our most successful event to date!  The weather was gorgeous, the crowd was amazing, and our volunteers were out in full force.

Thanks to everyone for making it a great day.  Look for results to be posted here later today.

Happy Running!

Frozen Feat 2011 is here!

Just a few short hours before the 4th Annual Frozen Feat 5k and 10k run!  The weather forecast is for beautiful sunny skies, and nearly 35 degrees.  The trails are groomed and mostly clear pavement.  It is winter in North Dakota, however, and so be cautious of a few icy patches here and there.  Don’t throw caution to the wind just because it’s going to be warm out.

Another note:  make sure to check in early enough.  The warm weather will have lots of walk-up registrants coming through. Be sure to be on time for race start and get to the race an hour ahead.

When entering the Grand Forks Community room, check in will be at the very back of the room.  There will be volunteers around to show you where to go, but it always saves time if you know ahead of time.

Post race food will be provided by the Green Mill (soup and rolls).  There will also be bananas and water available.  All food is for participants of the race.  We respectfully ask that spectators do not go through the line.

After the race, you will be handed a place card.  This is our back-up results system. Please hang on to your card and bring it back in to the “Number Collection” table inside the Herald Building. This table will be located just before the awards table.

For parking information and directions to the race, click on FAQ’s.

See you at the ‘Feat!
