(updated 2-15-12)
They’ve arrived! The results have finally been tabulated after long hours of research and communicating with our timing software group. While we are still missing a chunk of results between 32 and 35 minutes (this is when both our timing system and our backup system crashed), we have been able to generate the results as completely as possible to this point. We are still working on finding those missing results and will be re-posting as we get them in.
As many of you know, we made the jump into chip timing this year and along with that came some risks. Some unforseeable risks, however, caused the flub in the results. Our timing system AND our back up timing system both went down that day, likely due to the cold weather taking the life out of batteries and leaving us with few options. But, with quick thinking and good work from our volunteers, we are happy to present the results, as delayed as they may be. Please email Stacy at redriverrunnersgf@yahoo.com if you notice any mistakes in your results.
Thank you, everyone, for your patience in letting us get things ironed out. We, at Frozen Feat, are so appreciative of all the kind words about the race. You, the runners, truly make the event spectacular and we hope you all make it out again next year. You definitely conquered the Feat this year!

Congratulations to all finishers of the 5th Annual Frozen Feat run! We had a record turnout this morning and we applaud all of you tough runners for getting out there and braving the elements. We hope you enjoyed the race as much as we did.
With this being the first time we have used our chip timing software for race timing, we are experiencing delays in posting the results. The difficulties we are experiencing require us to contact the timing software company, which we cannot do until Monday, unfortunately. We apologize for the delay, but we want to post the most accurate results as we can, which is why we are having to wait until Monday to post.
We apologize for the delay. Thank you for your patience.
We are running out of shirts FAST! We are past 350 registrants. Remaining shirt sizes are limited, so be sure to get to Scheels early tonight to get the best chance at your size. We have small, XL, and XXL left in shirt sizes. We are working on some alternatives to accomodate our big numbers. Thank you for your support, everyone! We are excited to have so many interested runners.
Another note: the weather is looking to be quite a bit chilly on race morning (that warm chicken noodle soup from the Green Mill will hit the spot!) With temps hovering around -5, we want to be sure that everyone dresses properly for the run. It wouldn’t be Frozen Feat if you didn’t feel like you have “frozen feet”, right?! It is a good idea to put on an extra pair of socks, gloves, running tights, and most definitely, a face mask. The course has been taken care of all week, but remember that it is winter and parts of the trail have ice on them, so ice grippers are a good idea, too.
Packet pick up begins at Scheels tonight at 5pm and it will end at 9pm. If you are already registered, your shirt and bib will be there for you to pick up. If you are not registered, we will have sign-ups available.
See you all soon!
Due to the complexity of our new timing system and to ensure accurate race results, we will no longer be allowing registrations to be deferred to another runner. We apologize for any inconvenience.
